Membership Benefits

Family members are encouraged to join the Downtown Partnership in support of the organization's business recruitment and retention efforts in addition to downtown beautification and revitalization. Can you think of a better way to demonstrate community pride than to become involved in the exciting changes happening in your home town?

All members are invited to attend monthly Business Development Breakfasts. These sessions are offered the second Tuesday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the Ziegler Room of the Baker Community Center in downtown St. Charles. The business development curriculum features topics and presenters that can relate to the needs and interests of business owners.. including effective, low-cost marketing tactics; best-business practices; back-to-basics management strategies; and some just-plain-fun topics for refreshment. Attendees will be treated to a lite breakfast including coffee, juice and morning pastries. The Business Development Breakfasts are free as a benefit of membership. Non-members are also welcomed to attend for a fee of $20.

As a free service to its members, the DSCP has tools available to assist with creating a Business Plan or a Marketing Plan, in addition to the multitude of resource people and guides to help build your business. Through its five standing committees, the DSCP acts as a liaison to the City of St. Charles by making recommendations which align with mission statement: to enhance the economic viability and preserve the beauty and character of downtown St. Charles.
